Do you really need a memory heat sink in memories that are not overclocked??? by heat sink i meant the simple ones like those in the Corsair XMS3 ones

Not really, but if it comes with the product then you should use it. What are you thinking of buying?

I was thinking of getting either the Ripjaws or the XMS3 for a P67 build but I thought I could save some money buying ones without heatsinks
