Hello,
I'm a novice, very much so.
I accidentally shut down computer by pressing the button.
Using F8 key was finally able to get into blue screen and got the following codes after many hours of pointless efforts to fix the problem.

0x00000024 (0x00190203,0x82F50188,0xC0000101,0x00000000)

Problem is: When I turn computer on (Dell Dimension 8200) BIOS Revision A03 it continues cycling ON and OFF (Windows XP PRO) and won't let me do anything that I've tried using information from this website and others.

What should I do to fix this problem?

Don

Can you get to Safe Mode with Command Prompt by tapping F8? If you can, at the Prompt, type chkdsk c: /r and let a five stage disk checking process start. Sometimes, that is effectual against a 0x000024 Stop Error message.

Hi there, I'm in Canada and appreciate your reply. Will try it out and let you know what happens. So far you are the only responder so, I trust it works.

Sincerely Don
