I'm thinking about buying this mobo for my first ever build and was curious as to whether or not I should take the option of buying the open box version of it or just pay the extra $30 for a new one? Is buying open box computer parts generally a bad thing or a good thing? thanks!

Also the MOBO says it is ErP/EuP ready and some of the reviews say that only certain Psu's work with it. How do I know which power supplies will work with an ErP/EuP mobo?

I have bought lots of open box mobos from newegg when they receive them is there is any signs that it has any sort of damage they will not sell it as open box. If it is doa they will replace it or refund money.
