Motherboard Power Cconnection Confusion

Hello,

I am new to computer building but have always wanted to try. Anyhow, my motherboard is a GIGABYTE GA-P55A-UD4P and the power supply is a Corsair TX 750W. The motherboard has a 2x4 ATX 12v connector and a 2x12 ATX main power connector. Do I plug-in both connectors?

Thank you both. I only did the 24 pin mobo. When the computer wouldn't start (started for a second and shut down), I figured I had done something wrong and took it mostly apart. When I was reconnecting, that's when I thought I'd better ask those with experience.

Thats because the 4/8pin conn is the cpu's power glad you got sorted man
