How to install nvidia gtx 285

Hi,
I have just got a new Nvidia GTX 285 video card. It has two power connectors, one 6 pin and one 6+2 pin.
Do I need to connect both or just one of these pwoer supplies? My PSU only has the 6 pin type connector.

You need both. The GTX285 normally ships with a molex to 8-pin pci-e power connector, in case you do not have one.
If you do not have such an adapter, here is what one looks like:

Your psu should be at least 550watts with 40A on the 12v rails or you may have a problem.
