The GTS 250 is a decent midrange card, a huge upgrade from your 8600 GT.


I would just sell your 8600 GT on ebay and use the extra money for another upgrade.

Yes, I think I'll do that. I could use the money for another RAM card. I'm running on 3 Gb 800 Mhz and 1 Gb 667 Mhz.. :ange:

I would pull out the 1GB 667mhz stick, its actually slowing down your 800mhz RAM since your computer will set speeds according to the slowest stick.

I know that. That's why I want to buy another 1 Gb ram with 800 Mhz

What?

Both the 5770 and 4870 are leaps and bounds faster, don't use those cards int he sentabnce after the new drivers.
