My system crashes

Hey,

I'm quite new on this forum as this is my first post, so please excuse my ignorance if i've posted this on the wrong page. Recently, my computer is kinda weird as it just hangs ( meaning to say I can't move the cursor, keyboard shortcuts don't work as the system does not respond) and even after restarting, it still hangs. This has only happened after I installed the latest driver for my graphics card. I've tried rolling it back in safe mode, but it still hangs.

My specs:

i7 920 @ 3.2 Ghz
DDR3 1600 Mhz 9-9-9-24 Corsair XMS3 6GB
1TB WD Caviar Black
EVGA X58 SLI LE
GPU : EVGA GTX 275 ( Stock )
PSU : Corsair HX 1000
Case: (not sure if this matters ) Silverstone TJ 07
OS: Win 7 64 Bit Home Pre
Should I try using my spare hard drive (install 7 on it) and see how? Any suggestions? =/

Well if this only happened after new display drivers got installed, use Driver sweep in safe mode to remove all display drivers and then reinstall the new drivers.

Also check your CPU / GPU temps make sure you dont have a heat problem.

Run a memtest+ on the system over night to check for any ram errors.
