So, heres my problem. I bought mw2 this week. I put the graphics all on high and resolution to 1400x1050, but it lags alot and runs with ~30fps. My setup is i7 860, 3.6ghz overclocked, 2x ati radeon hd 5750 vapor-x gpus, 4gb Kingston 1066mhz ram, windows 7 64bit, asus p7p55d-e motherboard and MC 620w Carbon power supply.

This test says that with 1 hd 5750 gpu should run 1620x1050 resolution with ~60fps. So wheres the problem? http://www.techspot.com/article/219-cod-modern-warfare-...

Prehaps your card is eing run in idle?

Does this happen in other games?

Team Fortress 2 works fine. All settings maxed, 300 fps.

Has this happened recently, or when you first bought the card?

Update the drivers directly from ATI, you're running crossfire so that makes troubleshooting harder, take one out and see what performance you get, then swap them and make sure their performance is the same, one could be bad.

PS could be under-powering them as well, 620 seems a bit low for your rig.

Yeh, i'm not 100% confertible with that PSU producing enogh watts to power a 5750CF/5750X2 build.

So when I had only 1 gpu on the upper pcie spot, fps was ~30fps. When I put one on the lower pcie spot, fps goes ~65fps!! What the hell. ;P Both they do same performance when theyre on the lower one and on the upper one.

About that power supply. Yes it should power them both.

The ati catalyst center had disabled crossfire, I enabled it and now fps goes ~100. :)  Though now it overheats and crashes. >.> I might need to buy a fan for it?

Just manualy increase the fan speed on the cards in the catalyst control center.

your res makes me suspect your performance try something like

1280X1024
1680X1050

and you will see the diff
