Yes it will support. But why purchasing GT240. Take 9800gt if on low budget or extend your budget to get 5750 or 4770.

the 5750 is $30 to $40 more & the 4770 & 9800gt isnt dx 10.1
so it all depends on what's more important.
Personally...I'd save a little more & get the 5750, but if that $30 is just too important right now, then you'll be fine with the GT 240.
