I5-670 vs i7-860

i cannot decide which is a better buy?
an i5-670 with 6gigs ddr3 1800mhz memory or,
an i7 860 with 4gigs ddr3 1800mhz memory and a gt220 graphics cards?

If you are considering computers, go with the i7 - you can always add some more RAM if you desire to.

Value for money? Depends on the costs involved. What are we talking here in terms of cost?

Well since you put a graphics solution into your i7 860 option, the obvious answer is that you should get the i7 860 with a graphics card, as that will run games smoother than running with no gpu and an i5...

You should consider getting the i5 750 and something like a gtx 460 with 4 gigs of ram instead.

i7 860 = quad core
i5 670 = dual core

GT220 = not a gaming card

the issue is that the lga 1156 socket system the onbard graphics runs through the cpu and not the motherboard as normal. the i5 is compatible wit this system and the i7 is not coompatible so to use the i7 i shall need an extra graphics card just to start, but i am on a tight budget and wanna cut cost so these are the 2 options i have come doown to
