Welcome to Tom's Hardware...

1) Multi-tasking: Both are Equal

2) Speed: They will both be equal in speed in applications. The 890GX chip-set is the better chip-set but only marginal.

3) Graphics: M4A89GTD Pro has better on-board and PCIe capabilities. It has a slightly more power on-board and can run Crossfire at x8,x8 versus x16, x4.

Also, I would look at the ASRock 870 Extreme 3 in those price ranges, as it provides equal performance as the M4A89GTD Pro but at a lower price ranges and without on-board graphics, which can take up a small amount of resources.

The difference is on the support for x-fire.

~$100 is what I paid for the M4A88TD-V EVO... Works just fine with 1 gfx card installed.
