Here's my rig:
i5-2500k
Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD3H-B3
8GB DDR3 1333
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit

OCZ Vertex 3 120GB SSD

I just did a fresh installation of Windows 7 on this SSD drive. Using ATTO benchmark, everything else looks fine except with sizes over 1024 it's showing really slow.

This drive is on SATA-3 port in AHCI mode.

Similar number ~11MB/s under sequential read/write in AS SSD benchmark.

Anyone help please?

Yes, something is definitely wrong with your drive.

Your motherboard has 4 6Gb/s ports. Make sure the drive is connected in AHCI mode to one of the Intel ports (SATA3_0 or SATA3_1), not one of the Marvell 6Gb/s ports.

The drive should be on the latest firmware version 2.22.

If the drive is on one of the Intel ports with the latest firmware then you should Secure Erase it to restore it to fresh-out-of-the-box condition.

Wouldn’t hurt to update your motherboard BIOS to version U1h, which was released yesterday.

I was able to find the cause. For some reason, I had the Intel SATA3 ports set as "AHCI", but the Marvell SATA3 ports set as "IDE". As soon as I changed Marvell to "AHCI", it was all good.

I still don't understand the logic though. My SSD is connected to the Intel port which was always "AHCI", but oh well.

Thank you Dereck!
