Hey

I was looking at purchasing the Intel RT3WB080 Raid card.

Link http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

The card comes with ports for 8 hard drives ... but if you read the description it says it supports up to 16 drives. How do I add 16 drives?

Thanks

The description says it is compatible with SAS Expanders, so you would have 16 drives inside a SAS Expander.

Anyone have experience with the 24 port intel expander. I am about to buy one of those plus this card.

Plan to run 24 HDDs. 3TBs ... need it for work data storage.
