UEFI Bios Problems

Hello, I have an i5-2500k on an Asrock P67 Extreme 4, Radeon 6850, 4g of Crucial XMS3


I am waiting for my monitor that I ordered to arrive and currently have it hooked up to a 1080p 19" Philips LCD and I can not get the computer to display the UEFI Bios with this setup. On the 720p plasma, I've tried and it will not display properly. Any advice?

Same issue, I swaped it for a CRT I had laying around and it still will not display properly.

Anyone have an issue? I am tired of not being able to adjust settings.

What I would suggest for all three of you is a BIOS update. Even if your board is already using the newest BIOS, download it again and flash it. The erasing/writing/verifying process may reset the display.

Man. This has been driving me crazy! Glad to see others with the same issue. I'm on a Asus P8P67 PRO with XFX 6850 going to a 720p projector. UEFI shows video garbage and won't load. Works fine with GTX 460.

I've tried reflashing the mobo BIOS and a bunch of other things. Looks like this is an issue with the Radeon and UEFI on 720p/1080p displays.

Did you ever get this fixed?! I'm having the same issue (see above).

This appears to be caused by UEFI + Radeon 6xxx chipset + 720p/1080p output via HDMI->HDMI or DVI->HDMI.

Please help me verify this issue if you have a similar setup.
