HOW TO power the Radeon 5970 videocard

The videocard has a 6 pin PCI-E plug and an 8 pin. I have the Antec 1200 watt quattro power psu. Here are the connectors for it.

How do I power this thing up PROPERLY ? That 8 pin power connector is what im confused about, because it doesnt say PCI-E. Does it have to be pci-e? Please help.

I think it should be 6+2 PCI-E connector that goes into the 8-pin plug.

The 8pin is for the 12v Rail I believe. The 6+2 power connectors are what you want.

Though since you have the power, try to find an HD5970 with 2x 8-pin. You'll get tons more overclocking headroom.

The 8 pin EPS plug gets plugged in next to the CPU....the 6 + 2's and the 6 pins are PCI-E connectors.

and if you'll force the 8pin eps plug into the card, something will get fried... (it's physically keyed differently so it wont fit nicely, and the voltages/grounds wires are in somewhat different pins, so somethings gona fail...)
