First time I've had the money to build my own PC So I'd like to get it right. Will get be getting myself another 5870 when they drop in price so I want the rest of the rig to be able to handle two cards even though I don't have them yet. I know you guys probably get sick of these threads so I will name one of my future children after the poster of the most constructive feedback.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: 1 week or so

BUDGET RANGE: $1700 AUD so about $1500 USD

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming, downloading

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: keyboard, mouse, monitor, speakers

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg.com

COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: Australia

OVERCLOCKING: yes

SLI OR CROSSFIRE: eventually

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: want a good all rounder, that can handle crossfire when I get there and a bit of overclocking. Want lots of HDD space but not at the cost of space, get 2 HDDs? Partition?

Combo the case with the 750W earthwatts PSU. $195 w/ $40 MIR

GPu doesn't matter much. XFX, Gigabyte is $400, Sapphire $390 atm. Either works.

You should link which RAM kit you're getting. Should be the 7-8-7-24 DDR3 1600 kit. $120

HD is important. Should list what requirements you need. Offhand 500gb 7200.12 or Spinpoint F3's are good.

Also, read and fill out sticky in my sig for better advice.
