Compac 2100 wireless adapter

Hello, i have a compac 2100. i am having trouble accessing my wirless network at home due to the fact that that the laptop does not have a wireless wpa adapter what can i do to fix this prob?? is ther anywhere that i can download the adapter from

You are getting your terms confused here.

Establish whether the laptop has a wireless adapter -- I don't think it does, but Compaq's (not Compac) site may tell you if you look for your model's spec.


If it does not you need to add hardware -- purchase either a USB wireless adapter or a PCMCIA wireless adapter.

Once that is installed and working you need to address your router's literature for how to add your laptop to the wireless network.
