Gigabyte ga-x58a-ud3r connections

Hello,
I'm trying to figure out the sata and case fan connections for a new build. It's a Gigabyte ga-x58a-ud3r motherboard and a Cooler Master HAF 922 case. Which sata port should I plug the DVD optical drive into? And which sata port should I plug the case's front sata port cable into? Also, does it matter whether I plug the case fans into the system fan headers on the motherboard or the power fan header?

It doesn't really matter which SATA connectors you use. I put the DVD Drive in slot 1, and then HDD's in slot 2, 3, etc. I'm really OCD though, and these things all have to be nicely ordered

As long as the CPU Fan is in the CPU_FAN slot, the remaining fans can just go in any available slot.
