Hello,
I'm trying to figure out the sata and case fan connections for a new build. It's a Gigabyte ga-x58a-ud3r motherboard and a Cooler Master HAF 922 case. Which sata port should I plug the DVD optical drive into? And which sata port should I plug the case's front sata port cable into? Also, does it matter whether I plug the case fans into the system fan headers on the motherboard or the power fan header?

It doesn't really matter which SATA connectors you use. I put the DVD Drive in slot 1, and then HDD's in slot 2, 3, etc. I'm really OCD though, and these things all have to be nicely ordered :D

As long as the CPU Fan is in the CPU_FAN slot, the remaining fans can just go in any available slot.
