Restore system

System will not restore to early date, loads restore shut down and computer restarts . message reads system did not restore system to early date.

That is actually pretty normal for this system restore to an earlier date. I have never seen it work on XP. If you are having issues that you can't fix, re-installing Windows could be the only thing you can do.
