I currently have an Acer Aspire 5920, i has the Intel Core 2 Duo mobile processor T7300. i want to play assassin's creed on my laptop but it says that the minimum is a Dual core processor 2.6 GHz Intel Pentium D or AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ is it still possible for me to play the game with my current processor? if so how?

This has a LOT more to do with your GPU/IGP than your CPU.

In other words, the processor isn't the problem.

I would suggest you find out what GPU/IGP your laptop uses and make a post in the graphics cards section or somewhere similar

Yes you can play at a low resolution and there are utilities that will allow you to overclock your processor. Do keep a close eye on your temps if you overclock.
