What do you for your backup storage?

Hello,

I was wondering what people do for backup storage, specifically for desktops.

I used to backup data on DVD's in the past, but that has become overkill with just 4+ GB on a DVD.

There are the Blu-Ray DVD's with more storage capacity.

I happened to see these on newegg as an alternative:

Has anybody had experience with RDX drives?

I realize that there are USB external drives with high storage options, but even external hard drives can crash.

I'm wondering if there are other options for backing up data outside of LTO tape backups which are quite expensive and typically used in the Server enviroment.

Any ideas, suggestions, advice would be helpful.

Thanks,

lurn

I actually use an internal HDD. Some others do internal HDD with enclosures. Although, that is a lot of data you backup.

Personally, I still think using High Capacity storage DVD's are useful.
