Looking to upgrade GPU from Nvidia GeForce 7050/nforce 610i w/128MB. Current specs include C2Q Q6700 2.66Ghz CPU with 350W PSU, 4GB(2x2) DDR2 Ram. What's the better upgrade? Thanks in advance.

I would upgrade the PSU to 500W+ and then get a better graphic card, what is your budget ?

Yeah, you definitely need more power to upgrade to a better video card. At least 500Watts, but 650 Watts is recommended. I would try an ATI Radeon 5770 if you can spare a $130 at

These suggestions are good, but for a quick and inexpensive solution you could upgrade to an HD 4670. It would set you back about 60-80US but would provide quite a boost to what you have currently without the added expense of a power supply. It would add some life to that old system for the time being.

Of course long term a beefier power supply and more powerful graphics card would be desirable.

I would go with the HD4670 option if you are just saving toward a new PC/ system upgrade in the next year or so.
