Here's an oddball question. I've been going back and forth with tech support trying to figure out what exactly is wrong with my motherboard. My question isn't really tech support related as it is the question tech support asked me.
After running through a gamut of tests I was asked if I had a third party heatsink installed as this may cause errors to occur on the motherboard.
Has anyone had ANY experience or even heard of this?
Been a builder for 13 years and this is a first for me. Been using the same heatsink/fan on the same mobo for the past 3 years...never heard of a heatsink failing
