Aight, I'm the in house IT person for a company, and I need a new computer.
My current computer is a 1.8ghz Pentium 4 with a gig of RAM...
Suffice to say, with the amount of stuff I do, I desire a faster machine. I'm trying not to go crazy and build a gaming machine, but I don't want to buy cheap and have to worry about stuff breaking, I spend enough time fixing everyone else's stuff.
So, this is what I've put together:
http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=10903054]
CPU: i5-750
MOBO: Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD3
RAM: G.Skill Ripjaws 4gb DDR3 1600
GPU: Radeon HD 4670 512mb
HD: WD Caviar Black 640gb SATA
PSU: Corsair 650TX
Case: Cooler Master RC-690
Optical: Dual Asus Burners
I'm not particularly keen on going with an AMD build. Money isn't so much the issue as is compatibility and stability.
Thoughts?
