I have been given two Crucial RAM upgrade options, but am unsure which will be fastest because the CL seems to counter the potential speed increase. Any Comments?
Option #1
2GB, 200-pin SODIMM, DDR2 PC2-6400 memory module CT1529956
Feature: DDR2 PC2-6400
Specs: DDR2 PC2-6400 • CL=6 • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR2-800 • 1.8V • 256Meg x 64

Option #2
2GB, 200-pin SODIMM, DDR2 PC2-5300 memory module CT1529959
Feature: DDR2 PC2-5300
Specs: DDR2 PC2-5300 • CL=5 • Unbuffered • NON-ECC • DDR2-667 • 1.8V • 256Meg x 64

Many thanks, Astrikor

The faster RAM speed will counteract the increased CAS Latency. As long as the prices are the same, get the faster RAM.
