Hey i got a 1066 ddr2 ram i did the bios config and had it running at 1066. when i was oc cpu i had to reset bios. I set it back for 1066, but but the other setting to auto instead of me changing it and on cpu z says dram frequency is 597.
Is this bad? don't want them to burn out or something
here is what is says in cpuz
dram 600mhz
fsb 3:8
Cl 5
trcd 7
trp 7
tras 20
trc 30

i had it before like 5 5 5 15 should i leave it at 1200mhz or make it 1066?

If it is running stable I would not worry unless the voltage is higher than they are spect for.

hey when i play sc2 it keeps crashing in the middle of the game and get an error log and in it says something
ACCESS_VIOLATION (0xC0000005)
occurred at 0023:00D40912. The memory at '0xBCDC030F' could not be read.

does this have to do with the ram running at 1200? The game never crashed before today and already happen 5 times

Yes that could be memory related, set the memory down to its rated speed and see if that fixes the issue.

Yes it's bad. Change your dram ratio so that the ram runs at 1066mhz or less.

I cannot believe someone would tell you it's ok to keep it at 1200mhz. LOL

That would be fine if it was running stable as stated above, no mention of instability in the original post!

ok so it seems like when i over clock cpu the ram gets oc to 1200 how can i fix it? Would i need to run the ram in 800mhz mode?
