Acer Aspire T120E GA-7S741M Mobo Problems

Hi again!

I have the above computer with a problem...It starts up with CPU fan on full and then the fan dies.......

I have now done the following:
Tried another PSU...
Reset BIOS......
Removed Heatsink and cleaned and reset again......
Changed the CPU fan twice...
Connected the fans up to an independant supply...no problems with the fans..

Disconnected everything apart from essentials...

Is there anything else I can test?

You badly need a motherboard speaker - at this point, the 'beep code' it delivers at boot is invaluable!

It has one and it gives a short beep on start and nothing more..

LOL You are chasing a problem that does not exist, The fan runs at full speed on reset then the speed control kicks in, if the cpu starts to get warm it will start to turn, not really fast just enough to keep things cool, you can turn it of in the BIOS if you wish.
