I noticed that my hdd got couple bad sectors after get message Cyclic Redundancy Check error. I immediately start to backup hdd, but have question.
I move all files from that hdd via network on new 2tb hdd and all files except 2-3 files backup without problem. Is all other files OK, or maybe I have some corrupted files, it's to many files to do manual check.
If files are on bad sector do I always get message Cyclic Redundancy Check error when try to move or that files can move and be corrupted on other hdd?

Thanks.

If the files are really important you might want to pickup a program called hdd regenerator also there is a free program called Roadkil's Unstoppable Copier.
It will skip files are corrupt but continue to copy all other files that are good.
If you did not get any errors copying the files they should be ok the crc errors would be only with the three files or so.
