Compatible or Not Compatible

Hello,
My Windows Vista monitor kept going to sleep so I hooked it up with a Windows XP tower. Now I still have the same problem. Help!

i believe you can change that setting in windows

go into control panel under power management, or in start menu accessories, power management. The monitor just does what the computer tells it to do mostly. I believe it's default with windows to go to sleep after so long. I know it is with windows 7, cant remember with XP.. I know XP does something like that though.
