Good $800-$1000 gaming computer?

I need some serios help here.

I'm looking to buy the parts to form a gaming computer. As many builds you guys can offer the better.

Since I'm wondering about compatibility issues that's why I'm asking here.

We need to know if you need any extras like an OS or a monitor, where you can buy from, if you want certain features and a lot of additional info.
