Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 8 GB (2 x 4) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) (would like to get to 4 x 4 for 16 GB (MAIN PROBLEM))
Windows 7 Pro 64 bit (originally Vista)
WD 150GB Raptor X (x2 Raid 0) (OS & programs)
HITACHI Deskstar 1 1TB (file storage)
Lite-On DVD Burner
Sony BD Burner
Card Reader
Cooler Master Stacker Case

Problem –System won’t boot with more than 2 sticks of RAM
Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 8 GB (2 x 4) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Trying to get to 4 x 4 for 16 GB
Originally Corsair XMS2 2 x2 for 4 GB, ran stable. 4 x 2 for 8 GB, ran, sometimes unstable.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    My ASUS user manual says can have up to 32 GB on 4 bit systems. I wonder if they revised this after people found things weren’t working.
