Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (Code 43)

Since last two days my office jet pro k5400 printer and USB hub is not working When I connect it to my computer I'm always getting ''Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (Code 43)'' error message.

My printer is working well with another computer. Also my scanner is working well when I connect it to the same usb port which shows trouble to printer and hub. How can I solve this problem?

  1. Plug the OfficeJet directly into the USB port with the scanner USB cable. If it works, the original cable or the hub is bad.

    If it still doesn't work, try reinstalling the drivers.
