More about help choose 5770 5830 5850
  1. the 5770 is more then enough for that resolution and only needs a 400w PSU to power it

    * the 5830 is currently overpriced for its performance the 5850 would be over-kill for your current PC (unless you plan to upgrade the monitor)

Depends on what you can afford comfortably and what your future plans are for the system -- as stated the 5770 is fine for your current setup with the 19" monitor but since you mention using Autocad and sap you might eventually want to get a larger or a second monitor in which case the single 5770 would start to slow things down with it's 128mb memory bus -- (though at that point you could add a second 5770 and get better performance than a single 5850 if you have an X-fire MOBO with 2 PCI-e slots) -- that said if you can afford a 5850 it would be a bit more than you need at present but would handle things much better as you upgrade to a larger or second monitor (and for a real performance gain you could add a second 5850 later if needed) -- so get the best fit for your budget of those 2

The 5830 is a disabled 5870 chip that had to have some parts disabled due to errors on the chip and with current pricing being so close to the 5850 you are better off spending the extra small amount for a 5850 over the 5830 ! (if the prices were to come down to where it was closer in price to the 5770 than the 5850 then it would become a better choice over the 5770 but for now that is not the case.)
