I need some help deciding which memory to get. I am upgrading from DDR2 to DDR3. I originally planned to get 2x4GB and then later adding 2x4GB more for a total of 16. . Then I decided I didn't want to spend $100 right away on memory so i was thinking of getting 1 4GB Stick or possibly 2 2GB sticks to lower the price by half. But If I was to get 2x2GB then I would only be able to get a total of 8GB.
So my question is:
-Do I need 8 GB Of memory right now? And will I need 16 in the future? Is 4GB ok?
System Specs:
AMD Phenom II X4 965 BE
ASUS Crosshair IV Formula
_________ GB DDR3 RAM
EVGA GTX 460 FTW
and I plan on overclocking
