I have not the Sony installation CD. But I have VAIO F709 and W2K. I
can't use neither Fn finctions, can't toogle displays, turn off
sound... Horrible. The Sony support site
....provided only special drivers that doesn't work, I guess, because
of lack some Sony's (.dll ?) files on my laptop. But, as I said, I
have not SONY CD to install it. Could you, please, provide me the SONY
installation files, or BIOS files? My email stan at b2b2c,ca , or
refer me to some useful sites. Thank you for your help.

Hi -
I don't have the same VAIO as you, but in order for the Sony Hotkey Utility
to work, you first need to install the Sony Shared Library and, on some less
recent models, Sony Utilities DLL.
Download and install the above then re-install the Hotkey Utility, reboot,
and you should have Hotkey functionality.
