My memory card is not formatting

Hello,
4GB memory card not formatting,it say Ur window is unable to do

It may be damaged, but here's a few things U can try before, just to be sure:

Format from Control panel>Admin toools>disk management>Comp management>storage>disk management
Format from cmd. Start>run>cmd
type format x:\ (replace x with the memory card's letter)
Try a card reader (can U borrow one?)
Try another card in the same slot to see if that works.
See if U can find a format utility for your type of card
Try formating from inside your device (camera, phone, etc)
Try formating in another computer.
