XFX ATI 5670 Versus XFX Nvidia 9500gt

i have a 9500gt and i want to upgrade my graphics card to a 5670 i want better gaming performance is a 5670 a worthy upgrade,,or even better has anyone had both cards and can say how big the diffrence is,,this website had a review for a 5670 and it showed it was leap-froging ageist the 9800gt....all i want to do is max out my games at a resoultion of 1366-768(720p)...i cant get a card with a power connecter im trying to find the best graphics card for 380 watt power supply

Well, you know, 380watts' not that bad. You could run most of the mid range and lower high range gpus as long as your +12V lines are sufficient. If you tell us how many amps you got on 12V trails then we'll be able to tell you what the best gpu for you is.

dude, my old 4850 would nearly max out cod4 @1600x1050. 5670 would be big boost over 9500.

a 5670 would be a decent upgrade, but if your biggest issue is power and you're willing to pay a bit more you could easily run a 5750 on your psu, which consumes about 20 more watts at load than a 5670.

i guess at your resolution the 5670 is enough for most games, but i think you should consider the 5750 which is practically guaranteed to max all of your games at your res, and will do better with future more graphic intensive games

Well, just today I got HD5670 and gonna mount it tonight. Hope it preforms better than my crappy 9500GT. It ran COD 4 on 800x600 -_- . 25 FPS on high
