Im building a super basic computer (word documents and youtube but no real gaming or anything). Is this setup any good

Will this setup be able to unlock the second core in the Sempron and any suggestions or ideas are appreciated.

Yeah, Its got the Amd Advanced chip controller, ACC on it, bear in mind your not guaranteed a successfull unlock, but that mobo can unlock it, Good luck with it man

I just twitched a bit reading sempron. At least go for a dual core, they aren't that much more.

Other than that and the case (not something I would get, too much in comparison to other stuff)

In all honesty, if you're gonna stick with the sempron you'd be better off just buying some older similar stuff from ebay.

Just go to the mobos + CPU's section and get something there, it will undoubtedly be cheaper. You might even be able to swing one of the old dual core models which should outpace that still.

it has to be micro atx and a micro atx cube case so getting a midtower wont work.

Batuchka's build is uATX, you can just switch out the case for one of these

Actually i do up lots of SFFs, HTPCS, etc and i totally understand why peeps love cubes but in TS case dropping down to a Sempron ouch!
