Hello everyone! I am currently looking for a new graphics card to upgrade my current nVidia 9600 GS. For a price, I'm looking for the card to be under $170. I have an HP Pavillion m9500z, processor is an AMD phenom II X4 920, 2.80 GHz with an installed memory of 6 GBs. For my operating system I am running Windows 7 64 bit.

I'm planning on using this for Team fortress 2, Portal and Left for dead as those are the games I play. I'm not a hardcore gamer, more of a casual one.

Thanks, and if you need any additional information I'll try to give it to you!

If those are the only games you play, you really won't need much. A 5770 is definitely the most you could want. I think a 5750 or a 4850 would work fine, though.

Oh. my screen resolution is 1920 x 1080. Also, I don't know so much on this topic, but would a 5750 improve my current fps? My current monitor is an HP w2338h

5750 is weaker than 5770 and it won't play each game at 1920X1080 at high settings.

Get 5770 which is best in your budget.

Alright, my friend says to get an XFX ATI Radeon HD 5770 since I can buy it from my local computer shop. I would just like to make sure that this card will fit in my PC before I buy it. When I check my motherboard, it says '4PCI'

I think these are the specs of your PC

According to this your Mobo has a PCI Express x16 slot and that's what you need to run the card.

350W PSU will be fine for a HD5770.

Go for it :)
