PARTS PREFERENCES: A Nice CPU and Video Card

OVERCLOCKING: No, but capability would be nice if I feel adventurous

MONITOR RESOLUTION: 1680x1050

ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: The PC will mainly be for gaming. Parts needed are CPU, Motherboard, Video Card, Ram, *MAYBE A PSU, have a 550W Power Supply.

  1. Welcome to the forum. What specific PSU model do you have? You may need to replace it. Depending on the HDD you have, it may also warrant replacing. If you can keep both, here's a nice crossfire capable build (which you would actually need a new PSU for, but that can be upgraded later).

  2. Thanks! The PSU I have is a Antec Basiq 550W, would that PSU work with that build?
  3. Yes, it will work for now although it's not the best, but you'll need to upgrade it if you want to add another 5770.
