Dear Community look at the below specs;

Netbook:

PC:

SPECIFICALLY THE N version has almost 6k IOPS WRITE more than the D version. WTF? Why? This goes across the board for all of the series, 128gb also.

I was about to make the purchase when I noticed this... Is this a mistake? Perhaps this something to do with power/sata configurations between laptop and PC - surely the actual drive MUST be the same???

The notebook upgrade kit contains a USB to SATA cable for easy data migration and it also has a spacer for installation in 9.5mm drive bays (since the SSD is only 7mm thick). As you pointed out the N version has 6K more random write IOPS, but this would be unnoticeable.

The desktop version has a SATA cable included and a 2.5" bracket for mounting the SSD in a 3.5" hard drive bay.

Yes I understand the hardware components are different, but why is the IOPS WRITE better off on the N version?

Surely the model of the card is the same through, only the additional components are different?

I don't know why the notebook version can deal with more write IOPS but I know it would be unnoticeable, unless it is just a typo. If you're getting the desktop version just by the desktop one and vice versa.
