My friend was scoping out my build and has asked me to do one for him.

APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: 1 month BUDGET RANGE:1200-1500 no rebates

SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT:WoW; other games(vague, sorry)

PARTS NOT REQUIRED: Keyboard mouse monitor speakers

PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS: newegg.com, tigerdirect.com

PARTS PREFERENCES: doing an AMD build as it's just for gaming and web surfing. He perfers Corsair stuff.

OVERCLOCKING: Maybe SLI OR CROSSFIRE: Maybe (future)

MONITOR RESOLUTION:27" 1920x1200

HSF: Corsair H50 He asked for this, he likes it in my build (no gonna lie, I gush about my H50... no pun intended)

Anyone know if the HAFs have built in Fan controller knobs like the Antec stuffs? If not, I need to find a red-ish themed Fan Controller for him.

This all totals to 1,432.00

Looks very nice. And yes some lower latency RAM would be even better . I don't believe the HAFs have adjustable fans like Antec's Tri-Cool ones.

Hmm I might flash it up with a fan controller. I'm reluctant to because it complicates wire management significantly with probe/power wires.

OCZ 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600

and to ensure he can Xfire 5870s later on I upgraded his PSU to 850W.
