Hi, I am recently trying to set up a computer for one of my customer so he can see HD show on his TV from a computer plugged on HDMI. I've nearly done miracle with it already but when i try some of the streaming site like youtube, everythihng is ok. But When i try on by exemple, cpu's at 100%. I know the computer may be a little too slow ( intel 2.8 ghz single core, 700 ram, Gigabyte Radeon HD 4650 1GB DDR2 AGP 8X VGA DVI-I HDMI Video Card )

So i was thinking a better computer would do the job. Ill link you the piece i choose and i would like to be sure if i will lag or not

-2048MB Dual Channel PC6400 DDR2 800MHz Memory (2 x 1024MB)(0.5 lbs)
-Eagle ET-PSVT550E Voltas 550-Watt ATX 12V Power Supply - 550-Watt, ATX, 120mm Fan, PCIe, 10 Connectors(3 lbs)
-AMD Athlon X2 7850 Black Edition Dual Core Processor AD785ZWCJ2BGH - 2.80GHz, Socket AM2+, 2MB Cache, 2000MHz (4000 MT/s),
-ASUS M4A785-M Motherboard - AMD 785G Socket, AM2+, MicroATX, HDMI, USB 2.0, PCIe(2.4 lbs)

i'd like to be sure if it will still lag with that kind of machine.
Thanks and sorry for the bad english

there is a night and day difference between the two processors. do you plan to use the HDMI port on the motherboard for video since the 4650 was an AGP card?

if you can find a cheap ATI 3450 or Nvidia 8400gs, it will help out on playing HD video.

exactly i was planning to sell that videocard to someone else but yeah i was thinking on using the onboard card as a display port for the TV

Btw i am trying to use the HDMI port only
