hi, i am buying a new laptop and this one has the best price/performance
ratio so far. does anyone have any experience with gericom laptops,
please share it with me.
price is around 1150€.

You mean a so called "mobile" AMD.
This AMD is as mobile as
the ancient so called "mobile" P4 had been

Energy usage.

A real mobile CPU uses at 100% less than 25 W

A so called "mobile" less than 50 W

A desktop far more than 50 W

Not only battery life, but also noise for fan
goes with more energy usage.
