hi guys.
As many of you know, p67 motherboards got serious defects.
I heard that the problem comes from sata 2 port so the solution is to connect HDD and ODD into sata3.
i unplugged from sata2 and plugged to sata3. When I boot the PC, it says something went wrong and need to do something to boot the computer. I am sorry that I didn't memorize exactly what it said, but basically my problem is that I don't know how to move my SATA2 SSD into SATA3.

Do I need to configure something when I move SSD into diff sata version drive?

Thanks.

Did you confirm you had the SATA3 controllers set to AHCI vs IDE?? Your SATA controllers need to be set the same to transfer from one port to the next.

Also, the issue should only effect 5% to 15% of boards over a 3 year span (usage). I would think about just keeping going as before and just replace the board in April when they are released / given okay to replace.
