My ps3 component cables are not working

Hello, i have my ps 3 plugged into my tv using my component cables. there are the blue, red, green, and then the other red and white. i hooked it up to my tv and it keeps cuttin in and out on the picture in tha middle of my games. is it the tv or is it my system?

Its most likely the connection between the component cable and the PS3. Check to make sure there is no debris in the connector and make sure it is snug.
