Use 120 GB SSD with ATA Hard drive

Hello,
I want to use a 120 GB SSD with Default OS with a few programs and also use the ATA hard Drive as storage alongside.To do this i was told to use a BI Directional SATA/IDE Adapter Converter.Now i wonder,Can i use this Adaper without problems???

if your computer does not support SATA connections then yes you can use an adaptor for the SSD.
