Hello One and All.
I have an ageing but very willing Dell Lattititude 1.2 GHz C610 with a very tired mechanical hard disk drive.
I would like to replace hdd with a reliable and 'quick' solid state drive.
Is the IDE interface a problem and if not, can anyone recommend a fine choice of ssd?
Kind Regards,

:hello:

Yes, IDE is a problem. SATA is predominant.
There are a few IDE drives around, but they tend to be expensive and of low capacity.
Something like this:http://www.amazon.com/Transcend-32GB-SSD-2-5-Inch/dp/B000T9QRKE
Check to see that the dimensions will be the same as your current drive.
