What would be the best power connection to a Gigabyte MOBO?

Hello everyone,

I would like to get advice on what would be the best power connection on a Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R .
Installed is a i7 950 Bloomfield CPU ,850W Corsair PSU and a 1GB GC,.etc..

Would the ATX connection suffice..or the ATX_12V_2X..... or both?

Are you asking whether to use the 4-pin or 8-pin aux power connector? Either can work, if your PSU has an 8-pin connector, use it (preferred). Please clarify.

Besides the 24-pin main power connector...would it be wise to use the 8-pin aux power connector together with the 24-pin main power conector.?..This MOBO has both 24-pin main power and 8-pin aux power connections...The PSU has every connection under the sun...;

I'm aware of the other connections,molex,sata etc..first time I'm using this MOBO..just wasn't sure about the power connections.
