Hi!

I've just completed my very first build.
But for some reason my Corsair Vengeance™ — 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 Memory Kit (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9)
rams only shows a total speed of ~800MHz in CPU-Z?

I'm using the P8P67 Deluxe motherboard so this is really making me nervous,
since I have set the clock speeds at manual to 1600MHz (9-9-9-24) and at 1.5v.

How come my full ram speed is not showing? Please help me locate the problem.
Thanks in advance

DDR = Double Data Rate, so if it's showing 800 MHz X 2 = 1600 MHz which is rated speed. I would assume that RAM shows XMP-1600 under the SPD tab.

I guess this was what you meant with the SPD?

In the Memory tab if it says "DRAM Frequency 800 MHz" then you're running 1600 MHz.

Yep, 100% you are running 1600 MHz 9-9-9-24-2T!!!

I've suggest to CPUz to "show" both sets of numbers -- it freaks out everyone all of the time -- "I" don't even like to see my 1600 as "800"...

Good Luck!
