Only shows 800MHz of DDR3 memory? Tags: Memory DDR3 Last response: February 2, 2011 6:19 PM in Memory Share m9a2 February 2, 2011 4:17:38 PM Hi! I've just completed my very first build. But for some reason my Corsair Vengeance™ — 8GB Dual Channel DDR3 Memory Kit (CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9) rams only shows a total speed of ~800MHz in CPU-Z? I'm using the P8P67 Deluxe motherboard so this is really making me nervous, since I have set the clock speeds at manual to 1600MHz (9-9-9-24) and at 1.5v. How come my full ram speed is not showing? Please help me locate the problem. Thanks in advance More about : shows 800mhz ddr3 memory jaquith a c 346 } Memory February 2, 2011 4:38:58 PM DDR = Double Data Rate, so if it's showing 800 MHz X 2 = 1600 MHz which is rated speed. I would assume that RAM shows XMP-1600 under the SPD tab. m9a2 February 2, 2011 5:04:13 PM Yeah, you're probably right - thanks for your assistance!
